CANCELLED BOOKING - Monday, June 23rd

IT HAS BEEN NECESSARY TO CANCEL THE BOOKING FOR SATURDAY 12TH JULY AT RHOS ON SEA BOWLS CLUB DUE TO MEMBERS NOT INFORMING ME OF THEIR AVAILABILITY BY YESTERDAY (22ND JUNE)
NOT A NICE TASK, ESPECIALLY WHEN WE HAVE BEEN RECOMMENDED BY ANOTHER BAND.

Band practice and teaching sessions have been cancelled on the 15th June as it is fathers day.

Fathers' Day - Tuesday, June 10th

There will be ***NO*** band practice or beginners classes next SUNDAY (15 June) in honour of Fathers' Day - we have Mothers' Day off, so why shouldn't fathers be entitled to equal rights? Not only that, but several members are away that day and we shall have had a concert on the day before, so a rest is (hopefully) deserved!

Executive Committee Meeting - Monday, June 9th

Concert Saturday 14th June - Monday, June 9th

As you know we will be playing at Tynewydd Road Church fayre on Saturday. The plan is to play 3 slots mixing both Junior and Senior music. Band members get in free, however family members will be charged a small entry fee if they would like refreshments. There should be stalls and things to do including a bouncy castle. Please be at the church ready to play for 2.30pm

I'm writing some exercises to put on here and I'll write out some tunes as well that you'll be able to practice.
Remember that to get your lip muscles strong enough to get a nice tone and a good range on a brass instrument it's better to get a little practice every day (even 5 minutes is better than nothing) than to practice once a week. Close Quote
