What a job you lot did yesterday in winning both the Parade Contest and Concert Band Contest in Manchester.
That means we have won the Concert Band section for the third time in a row and the Parade section for the second year running which is a remarkable achievment considering that we included all our young members this year in the Parade class.
Great Job, Great Result, Great People
Band will restart Thursday 18th August, 2011 at 7.00pm.
Thanks to those who turned out today for the Rhyl carnival. I thought we gave a good account of ourselves again both in the procession and in the arena. However, we do need a better turnout for events of this type.
We are now on a short summer break and we meet again on Thursday 18th August.
Don't forget to do a little practice.
Thanks to you all for turning out today (23rd July) at the Prestatyn carnival. Also thanks for the way you all helped set up the gear for the sit down part of the afternoon.
We need as many as possible for the Rhyl carnival next Sunday so please make every effort to be there.
